There are also applicable federal, state and territory discrimination laws that must be always adhered to.
Any breach of this policy is a serious breach of our codes of conduct

Player Selection...
At City player selection and talent identification is based on several aspects of the footballer in question.
A player’s technical ability with the ball, the execution of their core skills, attitude, desire on and off the field and the level of game awareness during matches are a few key aspects that are looked for during a scouting or in-house training session.
Once a player has been around the club environment and an understanding of their training age is understood, an educated decision can be made as to whether a player is the right fit for the club, its philosophy and if City is the right environment for them.

Player Development...
The City approach to player development is one that is focused on the individual’s progress on their journey. Regardless of their current performance level, the task is to develop a plan to progress to the next level.
Individual techniques for players are at the forefront of our program to ensure the highest level of technical ability is established, this then allows the decision making to become faster and more subconscious, effectively creating a higher level of footballer.
By providing game-based sessions in training and allowing the players to make more decisions, game day becomes more consistent and most of the focus can remain on the individual during these times, while the team’s overall success and cohesiveness is still present.
